POHER-Mizzou Scholars program

The POHER-Mizzou Program is formerly known as the Global Health Initiative: International Research Elective MU-Zambia. The program initially founded with a focus of collaboration between Mizzou School of Medicine and POHER Scholars in Zambia, has now expanded to include medical students across the African continent. This is a very unique program that provides an opportunity for POHER scholars to learn about research under an MU School of Medicine faculty mentor over the course of 2 -3 months.
